BONDCERAM
B210

This classic ceramic adhesive shows good
strength in high temperature applications up to 3000 °
F. It is one of the better
and more economical adhesive cements to attach high temperature metals
to ceramics such as steel to steatite.
It has also been used as a caulking compound and thread sealant
for high temperatures. It
is one component alkaline thixotropic white liquid with a consistency of
motor oil.
Bondceram B210 can be applied after mixing to clean surfaces
then requires a heat cure to initially set the bond, this drives away
surface moisture to permit it to be stable at room temperature.
This should then be followed by a higher heat cure of over 300 °
F for an hour to begin to drive off some of the waters of
crystallization. The joint is then stable for most environments.
