FABCERAM 21
 Fabceram
21 is a dark gray machinable ceramic with excellent electrical
properties. It has temperature resistance of 750°F
and zero porosity. This is superior to plastics as it has dimensional
stability (does not creep), excellent arc resistance with no
carbonizing, and no porosity so that moisture cannot enter and degrade
the properties. Strength and thermal expansion is closure to metals than
plastics. It is the best product for higher temperature parts where
electrical resistance or vacuum service is needed.
Fabceram 21 is supplied in rods and plates up to 14 x 20 “. It can
easily be machined or ground with carbide or harder tools. We suggest
slow speeds with cooling so as to minimize local thermal shock. It may
be ground to exact tolerances.
