FABCERAM 33
 Fabceram
33 is a high temperature, electrically resistant machinable ceramic. It
has glass like electrical performance with good mechanical properties up
to 1100 °F. This is a beige filament
reinforced glass ceramic. This is the right product for a broad range of
temperatures and environments where very good electrical properties are
used. Custom conductor supports are easily made. This can be used where
plastics would have been chosen except for the need for high temperature
resistance or dimensional stability is required. Its thermal expansion
properties make it easy to use with conventional steel supports.
Fabceram 33 is supplied in rods and plates up to 14 x 20 “. It can
easily be machined or ground with carbide or harder tools. We suggest
slow speeds with cooling so as to minimize local thermal shock. It may
be ground to exact tolerances.
